Opened in 1990, and built with vision and careful design, Hotel Pasiphae has kep the heritage from Ancient Greece by using marble, wood and earthly colours combined with white surfaces. Rooms have names from mythology and history, and symbolic triangles and squares are used in decorations as well as shapes.
The name "Pasiphae" originates from the Hellenic word "pas": everywhere, and "phanes": the visible. In Greek mythology Pasiphae was the wife of Cretan king Minor, mother of the Minotaur and sister of Lesvos' first king; Makara. But she was also the beautiful daughter of Helios, the Sun.

Our 3*** family-owned hotel has 60 comfortable rooms surrounding the green gardens and spacious swimming pool, but it is more than anything our friendly staff that makes guests return year after year.

The main building has rooms on ground and first floor, and here you find the 24 hour reception, lobby, TV-lounge, meeting-area, conference room, Internet Corner, bar, indoor restaurant as well as outdoor sitting areas and the restaurant by the pool for breakfast, dinner and events in the summer.
As all our rooms, also the ones in the annex building have A/C, refridgerator, bathroom with shower or bathtub, a terrace or balcony with chairs and table and Greek TV on request.
We have parking for your car, bicycle or scooter, a children's playground in the gardens, a spacious fresh water swimming pool with free sundecks and umbrellas, and from our new ppol & snack bar we serve you drinks, refreshments and hot or cold snacks all day.
