Ferry Trips between Lesvos Island (Mytilini) & Turkey (Ayvalik)
Visitors of Lesvos Island can travel by ferry from the port of Mytilini on Lesvos to the Turkish port of Ayvalik. In high season, ferries run almost daily between Ayvalik and Mytilini but less frequently at other times of year; usually Thursday is quite busy for the big market (bazaar) and Saturday's for the smaller version.

To travel to Turkey a valid passport is required. Bookings should be made at our travel agency at least one day earlier from departure. To make a booking in advance we ask you send us your passport details, full name, passport number, date of birth and nationality.
If you wish to stay longer in Turkey than a daytrip you will need to go through customs in the harbour of Ayvalik, plus pay for a valid visa. Please note that our agency can't arrange tickets from Turkey to Lesvos Island. When you travel from Turkey to Lesvos Island you need to go to the main office of Cunda Lines in Ayvalik. You will find this office in the harbour and specifically located below the Ayvalik Palace Hotel.
