Sappho Travel is a privately owned, forward thinking Greek Travel Agency offering a wide range of leisure, business, special interest and educational travel services, working closely in partnership with its clients around the world.
Since opening our office in 1999, our philosophy is to build long term relationships – with clients and hoteliers. We believe in win-win situations where everybody gains. We are very proud to maintain personal contact with all of our clients and our personal customer service will always remain to be one of our highest priorities.
Using our personal approach, we deal with all your bookings and enquiries which come to us through our website(s) whilst at the same time making sure that your correspondence is closely monitored and all personal details and booking information is stored away from the public. This way you can be assured that your details are kept safe and secure at all times.
Our main office is located on the island of Lesvos in Greece, in the village of Skala Eressos.
As a fully bonded travel office, we are recognised main agents for the domestic flight and ferry companies in Greece and we issue tickets directly to those who visit our Flights & Ferry office in person. We also book, issue and send tickets to our worldwide audience of internet customers who travel to other islands and mainland Greece. We are also agents for the main ferry service between Lesvos (Mytilini) and Turkey (Ayvalik) and for Lesvos Car Hire.
As our offices are open for all visitors, a days business usually consists of dealing with all manner of arrangements for those who visit us here in Skala Eressos. A diverse selection of services is offered ... from accommodation, taxis and car hire to foreign exchange and quite some times we change tickets for those who have decided that it's simply not the time yet to leave Greece!
Our offices are managed by owner Joanna Savva and accommodation manager Wendy Jansen. Both are extremely dedicated in making all necessary arrangements for your stay in Skala Eressos and Lesvos Island, as well as making sure that the arrangements for your stay elsewhere in Greece go smooth and without problems. They are in close contact with your hotels on the mainland and Greek Islands, this to ensure that your visit to Greece is an unforgettable one.
